Based in Brisbane (Australia) we deliver ‘in-house’ leadership training integrating the most significant concept in team motivation and behaviours – “Human Factors”.

Why integrate “Human Factors” into leadership and management training?

The term ‘Human Factors’ relates to a discipline that focuses on understanding the way humans relate to the world around them. Behaviours are driven by values that are strongly shaped by family background (Culture), life experiences and personality. Human Factors are about understanding how your values and behaviours affect personal effectiveness and interactions with others. Knowledge of Human Factors enables people to learn their behavioural strengths and weaknesses.

  • Answer this: As a leader, if you understood how your team and/or staff like to receive and process information and how they prefer to be supervised; and if you applied what you know about their preferences, would it make managing and supervising more enjoyable for you and your staff?Would your staff be more receptive to what you were saying and therefore more likely to try?

Understanding the individual behaviours of staff and/or any person, then applying changes to the way you interact are the core concepts behind our Leadership and Management Training Courses. Motivating staff, developing teams and handling difficult people, suddenly becomes easier by gaining knowledge of WHY people behave the way they do, and what motivates them.

Supervisors and managers who can communicate, educate and delegate information and judgements into actionable decisions are the stars of their organisation, understanding and managing human factors provides a simple and practical tool to achieve this. As global businesses evolve, demands on human performance, in terms of creativity, productivity and teamwork, will continue to rise. To meet this demand supervisors and managers must increase their competencies in understanding, respecting and motivating people. To achieve this supervisors and managers need to go where they have never gone before and understand Human Factors, and the values and behaviours of people.

Understanding ‘Human Factors, is the element Leadership and Management Training courses are missing, ‘Human Factors’ explains WHY instead of just HOW.
