This course (Course in Low Voltage Panel Rescue) provides for Electrical workers (including air-conditioning workers, restricted electrical workers and apprentices completing final year of study) engaged to work on or near low voltage electrical equipment. This course complies with the requirements of the Queensland legislation (Electrical Safety Regulation 2002) incorporating the units of competence HLTCPR211A - Perform CPR (Resuscitation) and Low Voltage Rescue. A person completing this course is able to conduct a Low Voltage Rescue of a victim, carry out Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) as well as provide initial treatment of burns.
As a former electrician myself, I have developed this course into a realistic practical training course, with competency based assessment, this means I won’t tell you how to “suck eggs” if you know and can show me you are competent at this qualification. If you are new to the training we will walk you through it, however if you have completed the training many times in the past you won’t get hours of boring lectures from us.
This course also satisfies the Electrical Workers (Electrician) License renewal requirements when working or employed as an electrician in Queensland.
