We deliver CPR Training (HLTCPR211A – Perform CPR), with the same philosophy as our Leadership and Management Training Courses, we explain WHY instead of just HOW with the most up to date methods in-line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. You will gain practical and realistic knowledge and skills to confidently recognise and respond to an emergency requiring Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
FACT - Research has shown that 70% – 80 % of heart attacks occur either in the home or in public places. In most cases, there is often a bystander with no medical expertise, such as a family member, work colleague or just a passer-by!
If CPR is provided promptly the chances of survival are significantly increased, it is estimated for every minute of no action the chances of survival decreases by 10%. There are many reasons a person goes into cardiac arrest so the purpose of CPR is to keep blood flowing to the vital organs until medical help arrives to identify and hopefully correct the cause.
You might think learning CPR would take allot of training. Well you would be wrong. We have developed our CPR training course for the general public (layperson), who has no medical training or knowledge. Public courses are available during the day, night and weekends. Duration of our course varies but typically lasts 2 hours and includes hands on instruction with the uses of mannequins. We have made it easy to learn and the benefits are incalculable. Think of a loved one, if they went into cardiac arrest wouldn’t you want to be able to help them.
This two hour training course can be included as a component of our one (1) day First Aid Training Course, as this qualification is Nationally Recognised through inclusion in the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF), and is Workplace Approved throughout Australia.
Evening Classes Available - 6:00pm to 8:00pm (Wednesday; Thursday)
